E2 Error on the Pocket Colorimeter II™
Hach Pocket Colorimeter Ii Expanded User Manual Pdf
An E-2 error message on the Pocket Colorimeter II™ indicates the LED (light source) is out of regulation. Try replacing the batteries. Make sure that the LED in the cell holder comes on when the the read or zero buttons are pushed. If the LED doesn't come on, this indicates that the unit should be sent in for repair or replaced. This can also be related to a bad interference filter. Excess moisture can increase the failure of these filters.
